So this morning I noticed something while installing some apps from the app store on my iTouch. While the apps I purchased were downloading and installing I could go back into the app store and buy more. Though a form of multitasking I decided to take it one step further. I started downloading another and went into Safari to do some browsing. Sure enough the app finished downloading and installed itself. In other words the unit multi-tasked!Makes me think if that feature is built in then why don't they open it up a bit more to allow other apps to do the same? Now don't get me wrong I know it is a phone and that particular function is a bane in the collective sides of other smart phones operating systems (i.e. Android, Windows Mobile, Maemo..), but still I feel at minimum it should be an option that users can either turn on or off. After all the equipment is obviously capable.
